We like to tell everyone where they are going, that way it's easier for them to get there. Our rendezvous point is at Horse Ranch Park Trailhead. Horse Ranch Park is located between Crested Butte and Somerset on a dirt road. The trailhead is located near Kebler Pass and is approximately 12 miles from Crested Butte.

You can fly directly into Gunnison, and from there the trailhead is about an hour ride. Driving is always an option with the trailhead being about 4 1/2 hours from Denver. We recommend arriving at least a day early to get altitude aclimated and get a good nights rest before the trip. "West Elk Ranch, LLC" dba Sawbuck Outfitters can accommodate your lodging needs at our ranch. The ranch is located in Crawford, CO and is about 50 miles from the trailhead.
